At the Real Estate Regulatory Authority – Aqarat we remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing the regulatory environment for Qatar's real estate sector, in alignment with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar (May Allah protect him), and his esteemed attention to this vital sector.
The Authority was established under Amiri Decision No. (28) of 2023 with the aim of governing and stimulating the sector, building a robust and sustainable real estate ecosystem rooted in transparency and innovation. Our goal is to enhance Qatar's position as a leading global investment destination in real estate, supported by progressive policies and legislation.
Effective regulation of the real estate market and the protection of rights are among our foremost priorities. We collaborate with various partners to ensure transparency and enforce mechanisms and regulations to govern real estate development operations, ensuring that all stakeholders adhere to established standards and requirements. Our ultimate aim is to create a healthy and attractive real estate environment for developers and investors alike.
